Amna Abo Zuhair is a dedicated professional with a proven track record in project management and community development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from AABU University, Amna has developed various skills and a deep commitment to positively impacting her community.
Currently serving as Assistant Manager at Hopes, a non-profit organization focused on education and community development, Amna is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and overseeing operational functions. Her leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in successfully implementing projects aimed at improving educational outcomes and empowering marginalized communities.
Amna’s expertise extends to areas such as monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL), where she has demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing effective strategies to measure impact and drive continuous improvement. Her ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build effective partnerships has been key to the success of Hopes’ initiatives.
In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Amna served as a member of the Refugee Self-Reliance Steering Committee Global, where she contributed to the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning strategies across multiple refugee community-based partnerships. Her role involved providing oversight and guiding the direction of the initiative’s work, focusing on strategic, programmatic, budgetary, and operational priorities.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Amna is passionate about photography and visual storytelling. Her keen eye for capturing moments of significance has enabled her to document the journeys of individuals and communities with sensitivity and empathy.
